What I Love About Being Network Manager at Super Star Sport HQ

Hi everyone! It’s Billy here. I wanted to take a moment to share what I absolutely love about my role as Network Manager at Super Star Sport HQ.

First and foremost, I love knowing that everything we do at Super Star Sport helps local children stay fit, active, healthy, and… most importantly… smiling! Our core values of fun, positivity, enthusiasm, and safety drive every single thing we do. Whether it’s delivering fantastic sports coaching in schools or creating unforgettable experiences at our holiday camps, it all links back to helping children thrive. Being part of a team that values this so deeply is incredibly rewarding.

With 13 years of experience in the sports coaching sector, Billy has been instrumental in growing the Super Star Sport brand by over 300%. His dedication, vision, and leadership have strengthened our franchise network, leading to record turnover. As Network Manager, Billy ensures franchisees are always well-supported, with the tools and guidance needed to succeed.


Supporting Our Incredible Franchisees

One of the best parts of my role is working with our brilliant franchise directors. I love seeing the energy and passion they bring to their communities. Every fortnight, we hold our LION meetings (“Last time, Issues, Opportunities, Next time”) with directors at all different stages of their journey. These meetings are a fantastic chance to catch up, share ideas, solve challenges, and celebrate wins. Seeing how much we can achieve together as a network never fails to inspire me.


A Few Highlights from the Past Six Months

There have been so many standout moments recently, but here are a few that really stick out:


Launching Our New Website

We’ve launched the brand-new www.superstarsport.co.uk, and it’s been a game-changer for our brand. It’s vibrant, user-friendly, and really showcases everything we’re about. The feedback from parents, schools, and franchisees has been amazing, and it’s so exciting to see the impact it’s having already.


Franchise Sales Days

Over the past six months, I’ve had the privilege of running franchise sales days in so many areas. These days are all about helping franchisees secure new work and grow their businesses. Huge shoutout to Ryan and Kerem from the sales and marketing team—their support has been absolutely key in making these days successful. The buzz we feel when a franchisee wins new work is unmatched!


School Sales Training Day

We also hosted a network-wide school sales training day, and wow, what a day it was! Bringing everyone together for a fun, interactive, and impactful session was a real highlight for me. The goal was simple: help the network win more opportunities and convert even more primary schools into clients. It’s always amazing to see our network working hard, learning, and achieving together.


One-to-One Support

Over the past six months, I’ve had the chance to offer one-to-one support to every single franchisee. Whether it’s planning to win new work, building cash flow forecasts and budgets, providing HR advice, or just being there for a chat, it’s been an absolute privilege to work closely with you all. These conversations are so valuable, and I’m looking forward to continuing this support in the future.


Looking Ahead

As I reflect on these highlights, I feel so grateful to be part of such an incredible organisation. The work we do together from HQ to our franchise network, has such a positive impact on children and communities across the country. I’m excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve next.
